Yes.  The 2018 Farm Bill passed by congress legalized hemp and hemp derivatives to be grown, traded, processed, and sold.

The Farm Bill defines “Hemp” as “the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of that plant, including the seeds thereof and all derivatives, extracts, cannabinoids, isomers, acids, salts, and salts of isomers, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.”

All products sold both by Brevard Hemp both in stores and online are compliant with the 2018 Farm Bill and thus contain less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC.

Hemp and marijuana are the same plant, but are very different varieties.  Take for example spicy and sweet peppers. Cannabis sativa varieties that are rich in THC (or tetrahydrocannabinol) are considered marijuana and have psychoactive effects.  However, hemp varieties are below 0.3% THC which means they are non-intoxicating.

Humans (and all animals!) have an endocannabinoid system, which plays a crucial role in regulating our physiology, immune function, stress response, and mood.

Endocannabinoids are molecules produced in our own bodies that bind to and activate cannabinoid receptors.  The endocannabinoid system also responds to external cannabinoids like CBD. Our bodies are actually designed to process and benefit from cannabinoids!
